Our community is a safe haven to network and converse with fellow women and non-binary music enthusiasts. We’re taking big strides to bring people together and create strong connections in this ever-changing industry. Our passion and love for music is what holds our community together, and through all of our events, it remains a central topic of conversation. We also help create meaningful discussions about the experience of being a woman in our industry and in a wider context. You may not realise that these small conversations can turn into big changes - and that’s our goal.
Our Story
Founded by Andrea Dee in 2022, Amplify Her was created with the goal of tackling barriers for women in the music industry. In only two years, it has evolved into a diverse, vibrant and talented community of female, trans and non-binary musicians. Andrea truly believed that this is what our industry needed - a platform for women’s voices to be heard louder than ever. Our events have since grown in popularity and magnitude, while still making sure everyone in our community has a voice. And, as we continue to grow, we’d love for you to join and be a part of our journey.
What Do We Do?
We bring people together through a variety of different events, both online and in person. We host networking nights, open mics, and showcases - and we have our very first Songwriting Camp coming up in September! All of these events pose a great opportunity to not only show off your talents but meet like-minded people from every corner of the industry. Our core values include empowering women, creating bridges, welcoming everyone - regardless of their background, and supporting each other. We hold these values very close to our hearts when speaking out about the issues women face in music. Right now, we need as many hands on deck to make sure the industry can hear female voices loud and clear, so if this sounds like a

How You Can Get Involved
Our London events are thriving right now - so just drop by any one of them by booking through our website and you’ll be a part of our network. You can also participate in our open mic nights, showcases and songwriting camps - all details for these will announced be on our website. Be sure to book quickly because those tickets disappear fast! We’ve also recently launched in Brighton and are already making waves in the music scene. We just started to host our coffee and cocktail networking events. So, for anyone based in Brighton and looking to make some new industry friends, come along to one of those.
On top of that, you can interact with us on our social and website or join our vibrant WhatsApp community group to have a look at the exciting projects our community is working on - and maybe promote your own project!
We are also excited to announce the launch of our new memberships. These monthly
memberships give you potential access to free events, mentoring, and generous discounts depending on what tier you select. Remember, every bit of support - however little - is bringing us one step closer to our goal in our fight for equality.
