Amplify Her – Event Cancellation Terms & Regulations

At Amplify Her, we understand that plans can change, and we do our best to accommodate our community wherever possible. Please read our cancellation policy carefully before booking any event or session.

General Events

• A full refund is available for cancellations made at least 7 days prior to the event date.

• Cancellations made between 7 days and 24 hours before the event will not be refunded, but you will receive a credit that can be applied toward a future Amplify Her event.

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event, including same-day cancellations or no-shows, will not be eligible for a refund or credit.

Songwriting Camps

• Due to limited spaces and high demand, a full refund is available only for cancellations made at least 14 days prior to the camp start date.

• Cancellations made after 14 days are non-refundable and not eligible for credit, as all logistics, studio bookings, and artist allocations are finalized in advance.

Event Changes or Cancellations by Amplify Her

In the rare case that an event is postponed, rescheduled, or canceled by Amplify Her, all registered participants will be notified via email. Attendees will be offered the choice of a full refund or a credit transfer to a future event.

How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel your booking, please email us at info.amplifyher@gmail.com with your full name, event name, and booking confirmation number. Requests will be processed during business hours, and refunds (when applicable) may take 5–10 business days to appear in your account.

1. Who We Are

Amplify Her is a community-led organisation supporting women and non-binary people in the music industry through events, education, mentorship, and creative opportunities. Our mission is to empower underrepresented voices in music.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use our Services. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

 

3. Use of Our Services

You agree to use our Services lawfully, respectfully, and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Engage in harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory behaviour.

• Post or share unlawful, defamatory, offensive, or infringing content.

• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation with Amplify Her.

• Use our platforms to advertise or promote services without permission.

• Interfere with the operation of our digital platforms or events.

We reserve the right to suspend or ban users who violate these guidelines.

4. Accounts and Registration

Some features (such as event registration, content access, or community platforms) may require you to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

We may terminate or suspend your account if we suspect misuse or violation of these Terms.

 

5. Event Participation

By attending an Amplify Her event (in-person or virtual), you agree to:

• Behave respectfully toward all attendees, staff, and performers.

• Comply with all event-specific rules, venue policies, and safety guidelines.

• Understand that photos, videos, or audio recordings may be captured for promotional purposes.
  If you do not wish to appear in such content, please inform us in advance.

Amplify Her reserves the right to remove anyone from an event without refund if they violate our community guidelines.

 

6. Content and Intellectual Property

All content on our platforms, including articles, music, videos, designs, branding, and event materials, is owned by Amplify Her or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or exploit our content without written permission.

User-generated content (e.g. posts, comments, or music shared via our platforms) remains your property, but by submitting it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and share it for Amplify Her-related purposes.

 

7. Purchases, Subscriptions & Donations

Certain aspects of our Services may include paid features (e.g. ticketed events, digital content, or merchandise).

• All payments are processed securely through third-party platforms (e.g. Stripe, PayPal, Apple/Google).

• Refund policies will be clearly stated per product or event.

• Subscription services renew automatically unless cancelled.

• Donations made to Amplify Her are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated.

 

8. Privacy

We take your privacy seriously. Our collection and use of personal data are outlined in our Privacy Policy.
By using our Services, you consent to the collection and use of your data in accordance with that policy.

 

9. Third-Party Links and Integrations

Our Services may include links to third-party websites or platforms. Amplify Her is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of these external services. Use them at your own discretion.

 

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amplify Her shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our Services.

All Services are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, legal requirements, or community feedback.
